Meet Our Therapist

Olive N. DeGuzman is the main therapist at Saver Physical Therapy. She has treated thousands of patients over her 30-year long career and has supervised many therapists throughout Florida. She has had 2 very successful practices in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda, Florida before retiring in Palatka due to medical reasons (which turned her into a patient as well). However, after 7 years, her passion for her work inspired her to return. She is also a Pre-Med Biologist as well as a physical therapist. This gives her a great advantage in knowing the human body. By nature, she is a researcher and does not let a problem go by without digging deeper. She calls herself an "integrative physical therapist" because she believes she cannot get rid of her patients' pain and dysfunction if she is only treating one aspect. She also believes that the human being has body, soul and spirit, and that they have to work together to be successful in its endeavors.
